listography

I will start a new series on this blog about my listography book that I received from a friend during my birthday last year. I've just briefly scanned the pages and I plan to be spontaneous about making the lists so there is a bit of surprise to myself, as well :) I think it is something fun to do!

by Lisa Nola

The first is a list of the cities I want to visit. So here goes:
1. Paris

2. London

3. Rome

These are the 3 I really want to visit. They are like the major cities in the world so I want to see them :) I am simple! I have been to New York so I have kind of started this list, already. So surely there will be more that I can add but I want to focus on these 3 for now :) The other cities will probably be just bonuses ;)

And by the way, more than the famous landmarks, I especially want to visit the charming streets, art museums, and the cafes!

to be lost in streets like this (Eguisheim village in Northeastern, France)

to bike or to walk and waste time at cafes
ahh, to see a real Monet or Renoir ...

Starting the day right

So today Farid and I decided to go for a walk around our neighborhood first thing in the morning before we even had breakfast. And it felt really good! This is what I learned when I was watching a youtube video of a guy who talked about productivity. He said to always start your day with something positive and one of his suggestions was to go for an exercise. I am so glad we did it and I will do my best for this "ritual" to be part of our morning routine. It actually inspired me to find creative ideas for a youtube channel I am planning to do ;) I am really excited!!!

I am sharing a picture of one of the scenes we saw during our walk which took us probably at least 45 mins :) I think it was awesome!

Missing Azarie

Today I just want to write how worried I am that Azarie is having fever and I am not with her. I feel terrible. :( I just want to be with her and be assured she is fine. I will never ever want to be separated from her again.
Dear God please make Azarie get better soon and that her fever is nothing serious. Please also help me not to be worried and to put my trust in You. Thank You, Jesus.

37 hangers

Hello! I am back to blogging again. It seems to be my normal to be in and out of  blogosphere but as long as I come back, I think it is ok.
So anyway, lots have happened, both good and bad. But the most important thing is God has given us the blessing to continue with life and make it better with His grace.
I was planning to make another blog, thus the title 37 hangers, which would have been my 7th blog but really?! So I thought why just not continue this one and then transfer my posts from the other blogs. I have to figure out how to do that, though.
I won't be writing long but my goals was to write one post at least once a week. I have lots of ideas to write about so I'm quite excited!
By the way, I went to 1st Wednesday novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help and the priest's homily was really good. He said that every person matters, so therefore we should always take time to help them. Like St. Andrea, he said that even in our simplicity we can be of service to others.
The priest also talked about Jesus' manifestation to the apostles when He walked on the water. He said that Jesus did that to show the apostles that in the turbulence of the waves (life), He is there but that they did not  recognize Him at first. This really touched me because God has revealed to me that He is with me in what I am going through and that I should not fear because He is with me for all eternity.
I was gonna share a family picture but I don't know how, anymore. Oh well...until the next post! :)

On Being a Connoisseur

Today I am grateful for the influence of the blog called "The Daily Connoisseur" in my life. It has taught me so many things on how to live simply yet with passion. By reading its posts on the French culture, I have learned to appreciate what are truly essential. :)

Exploring Savannah

Today I am grateful for having a nice time yesterday. :) The weather was great. I was able to drive around Whitaker Street and visit one of my favorite shops, "The Paris Market" while my husband was hanging out with people he met from "Meet Up". Then later on he joined me in exploring River Street. I never get tired visiting this place in Savannah. I'm sharing pictures below. Hope everybody had a great Saturday, too!
